What To Expect
The best way to know more about FBC Dike is to come to our services. Here are five steps to help you while you are here:
When you pull into the parking area you notice we have and eastern parking area and a northern parking area. We encourage parents to utilize the north section where they will be closer to the Kid's Hall. As you pull in on the north side, you can drive up to the covered entrance to drop off children or family during inclement weather.
Once inside our facilty, our sanctuary is on the south side of the building and the classrooms are on the north. If you get lost, look for one of our staff members and we will be more than happy to escort you. If you have special needs please speak with one of our staff so that we can make provisions for you.
When you enter our worship hall our ushers will help you find a seat if needed. Services generally start with announcements and recognitions, followed by our worship team leading us in song. During the first worship song we encourage everyone to meet and greet guests and family, if you are a guest you may be approached by a few different people who wish to know you. Don't be embarrassed as we are all family here at FBC Dike and we are excited you have joined us for worship.
During worship we encourage you to worship our God in whatever manner you feel is appropriate. Raising hands, clapping, standing or any other worshipful gesture is welcome. While the message is being delievered we also encourage you to speak and provide feedback to our teacher. Yell our an "AMEN!" or a "PRAISE GOD" or even ask a question. Our messages are meant to teach, enlighten and encourage, do whatever The Spirit calls you to do during our service.
At the end our service you can go back to the Kid's Hall to pick up your children, hang around and chat, or enjoy another cup of coffee. We pray that you will be blessed by our message and that you feel welcomed while your here. We also pray that you come back and let us treat you like family.
